Spam (links)

Spam is an immoral technique to improve ranking in search engines. Spam is used dishonestly to raise the amount of external links to trick the search engines in order to get a higher ranking.

This technique is used to both benefit and to inflict damage. On the one hand, the increase of links on a page can improves its SEO Ranking. However, search engines like Google have systems of web analysis (in the case of Google are called spiders) that severely penalize these methods.
